We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for the role of Administrative Coordinator to accurately manage and maintain client's health records, ensuring that all documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Accepting Direction: The ability to accept and follow directions from those higher in the chain of command.

  • Communicating Effectively:  The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect to people and ideas.

  • Managing Time:  The ability to control your time to increase effectiveness, efficiency, or productivity.
  • Two years of experience in administrative services.
  • Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in periodic audits to assess the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  • Process requests for medical records from patients, legal representatives, insurance companies, and other authorized parties.
  • Verify the authenticity and authorization of record requests.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems to manage and retrieve patient records.
  • Strictly adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Provide regular updates to management on record management trends and issues.
  • Assist in addressing any discrepancies or deficiencies in documentation.
