About The Position

Imperial Calcasieu Human Services Authority (ImCal HSA) exists to empower citizens with mental health, addictions, and developmental challenges in Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, and Jefferson Davis parishes, valuing self-determination so individuals can live satisfying, hopeful, and contributing lives. This role is for an Administrative Coordinator at the Oakdale Behavioral Health Clinic, which provides comprehensive outpatient services for individuals with mental illness and/or addictive disorders for both adults and children.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in administrative services.
  • Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as clinic operator/receptionist within ImCal’s satellite clinics.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
  • Operate and maintain various office equipment such as copy machine, calculator, fax machine, computers, laptop computers, projector, cameras, etc.
  • Conduct initial screenings and process referrals for clinic services.
  • Schedule, confirm, cancel and reschedule clinical appointments for all providers by phone and/or mail.
