About The Position

This position provides clerical, programmatic, and administrative support functions for staff, applicants and clients of the Caddo Parish Child Welfare office. The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is working to keep children safe, helping individuals and families become self-sufficient, and providing safe refuge during disasters. Requirements

  • Two years of experience in administrative services.
  • Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for payments in the Tracking Information Payment System
  • Provide general clerical support to agency staff members
  • Process all special board payments
  • Serve as receptionist relief person as needed
  • File maintenance of all records related to child welfare cases
  • Process a large volume of payments to vendors and providers
