About The Position

The Administrative Clerk will perform general office duties as required by Liquid Waste supervision. This role involves organizing and proofreading documents and emails, distributing reports, and operating a computer to extract data. The clerk will establish and maintain filing systems, communicate problems to supervision, and relay communications promptly and accurately. Responsibilities also include following office, safety, and security procedures, operating office equipment such as copiers and faxes, and performing clerical functions like taking dictation, transcribing, and typing various business correspondence. The role also entails receiving, documenting, posting, and recording statistical and confidential information, answering telephones, taking messages, and keeping a manager's calendar. Processing completed work packages for records submittal is also a key duty.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening and have had no previous record of drug or alcohol-related convictions
  • Minimum typing skills - forty-five (45) words per minute with 90% accuracy
  • Proofreading and distributing documents maintaining 89% accuracy
  • Operate computer to research, input, update or change data and manipulate software to achieve desired results
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point and File maker-pro. software applications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SRS software (SmartPlant, Puridiom, Deltek, EDWS Documentum)
