This is a full-time day shift position, Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The primary responsibilities involve accurately comparing incoming shipment waybill information to the database before receiving, arranging Canadian customs clearance and delivery details for outgoing shipments, and handling correspondence. The role also includes delivering items to departments, maintaining databases, preparing routine reports, and filing shipping and receiving records. The clerk will complete shift reports, notify management of major discrepancies, and prepare Bills of Lading by verifying items against work orders. Ensuring organized files and effective communication to resolve shipping and receiving issues are key. Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary and personnel information is also a requirement.
