About The Position

Jones Lake Management is a full-service lake and pond management specialty company focused on providing quality solutions and products. The Administrative Biologist receives on-the-job training and continuing education opportunities. This role oversees and responds to customer service inquiries by telephone and in the office, assists with customer needs, and provides administrative support to the team and branch manager.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in Biology, Water Resources, Fisheries-related coursework, or equivalent work experience.
• Well organized and highly motivated, with the ability to work well with a team of professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent phone and cold-calling skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong listening and sales skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend at the waist and/or knees and lift arms over shoulders.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and use a keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team with material issues and other tasks.
• Provide customer service by phone and in person as needed.
• Manage inventory and make adjustments when needed.
• Conduct regular spot checks of materials, high-value items, and high-turnover inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate collection and submission of team credit card receipts.
• Assist the branch manager with customer follow-ups.
• Perform projects as needed for the branch manager.
• Assist with the creation and coordination of estimates.
• Communicate estimates to customers.
• Inform clients about new equipment options.
