Perform plant accounting activities such as budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, capital work orders, outage tracking, etc. Provide assistance to material management function. Demonstrates the ability to perform with minimal guidance administrative functions required in the relevant area of assignment in a safe, healthy, efficient and economical manner. Demonstrates competency in analytical techniques necessary to handle accounting/material management projects and assignments (dividing the work into steps/goals and performing the analysis necessary to complete each step/goal). Exhibits technical ability with minimal guidance to incorporate AEP's General Terms and Conditions, specifications, standards, codes and regulations relevant to accounting/materials management. Demonstrates ability to analyze and recommend enhancements to our business processes including new developments, technologies, procedures and equipment. Exhibits ability to understand relationships between departments and locations in area of assignment. Participates in the development of accounting/materials management procedures.
