About The Position

As a member of CIBC Wood Gundy, you will be responsible for building and growing Wood Gundy client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice and exceptional client service. As an Administrative Associate, you will work closely with Investment Advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage their portfolios and develop new business. You will directly engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience. Requirements

• Current accreditation and in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
• Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience.
• Working knowledge of various quotation equipment.
• Fluency in French and English.

• Registered Representative (RR) licensing.

• Managing Investment Advisor portfolios and developing new business.
• Directly engaging with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience.
• Focusing on each client's experience and connecting on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.
• Anticipating client needs and communicating promptly with the team to build trust and deepen client relationships.
• Identifying activities, processes, and opportunities to improve the client experience.
• Proactively identifying business opportunities for the team.
• Assisting in the building of investment plans based on the client’s profile, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.
• Heightening CIBC brand awareness in the community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities.
• Growing your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.
