About The Position

MHS is currently seeking a Full-Time, 40-hour per week Administrative Assistant, primarily located at our offices in Madison County. There may be some cross-training and coverage at our location in Clark County as needed. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering phones, greeting clients, entering information, processing payments, and general customer service. Administrative Assistants with MHS support our outpatient clinics for both behavioral health and primary care teams. Prior experience working with mental/behavioral health clients or addiction clients is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems is required. This is a fast-paced office serving both Clark and Madison County clients, based out of our Behavioral Health (BHR) offices. This position may require you to drive in the community in both Clark and Madison counties, utilizing your own vehicle (reimbursement available for mileage and vehicle use). You must meet MHS insurance requirements to be considered for the position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
  • Ohio Driver's license
  • State-required minimum auto insurance coverage (Primary Care Administrative Assistant)
  • Meet MHS insurance requirements
  • Ohio BCI check
  • FBI check (if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children)
  • 5-panel drug screen upon conditional offer of employment
  • 2-step TB test (Residential candidates)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with mental/behavioral health clients or addiction clients
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant
