About The Position

The Lehigh County Extension office is seeking an Administrative Assistant to maintain daily operations, ensuring compliance with financial and administrative processes, and supporting program delivery across multiple Extension initiatives. The Administrative Assistant in Lehigh County will work closely with the Extension Business Operations Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Extension Educators, and other Administrative Assistant to help ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Lehigh County Extension office.

Requirements

  • General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS)
  • No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.
  • Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with county Extension program and events coordination.
  • Provide administrative support for 4-H, Master Gardener, Master Watershed, and other state programs.
  • Provide customer relationship support.
  • Help coordinate office communications.
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties of Administrative Support as needed.
