About The Position

Osceola Medical Center is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional Entry-Level Administrative Assistant to support the Chief People Officer and Executive Director of Operations. This role is ideal for someone beginning their administrative career who enjoys helping teams stay organized, communicating with a variety of people, and contributing to a positive healthcare environment. The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support, assist with scheduling and coordination, maintain confidential records, and help support departmental projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief People Officer and Executive Director of Operations
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute follow-up information
  • Assist with organizing employee files, reports, and departmental documents
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, operational, and organizational information
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally
  • Assist with onboarding and employee engagement activities
  • Support special projects, events, and internal communications
  • Coordinate office supplies and maintain organized workspaces
  • Perform data entry and basic reporting tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to support operational needs
