This position provides administrative support and coordination of activities for the SMC Emergency Department and AirMed teams. Responsibilities may include answering the telephone, taking messages, and answering routine questions. The role involves composing, typing, and distributing meeting notes, routine correspondence, presentations, billing, reimbursement, or monthly reports. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will maintain vacation schedules, manage departmental schedules, order and dispense supplies, and may perform payroll functions such as maintaining timekeeping information and processing it for payroll. The position may also involve maintaining master copies of company policy and procedure manuals and keeping them up-to-date.
