LOCATION: Sylvania , Georgia The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia's adult outpatient program is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Secretary. The selected candidate will be a professional individual who has strong communication skills and provides exceptional customer service. This is a very busy environment and requires superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly

Nice To Haves

  • Previous administrative or secretarial experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate follow-up appointments, labs, referrals, and document all non-billable coordination with the MD/NP.
  • Provide Treatment Engagement services, including orientation, consents, scheduling initial appointments, completing GIRPP documentation, and billing.
  • Answer phones, route calls, and communicate messages appropriately.
  • Monitor treatment plans, authorizations, and BPS expiration dates to ensure updates are completed before MD/NP appointments.
  • Assist with scanning, EMR documentation, scheduling, and Performance Monitoring entries.
  • Complete appointment reminder calls, document outreach, and reschedule missed appointments within 48–72 hours.
  • All other duties as assigned.
