About The Position

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to assigned departments and leadership to ensure efficient daily business operations. This position serves as a central point of communication by coordinating schedules, preparing correspondence, maintaining records, assisting with meetings, and supporting organizational projects. The Administrative Assistant exercises professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment while handling confidential information and interacting with employees, physicians, vendors, patients, and external business partners. This position contributes to operational efficiency by maintaining organized administrative processes and delivering exceptional internal customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience supporting management or executive staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to prepare professional business correspondence and reports
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to coordinate meetings, calendars, and departmental activities
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and administrative procedures
  • Ability to learn new software systems and technology quickly
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful or rapidly changing situations
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and office equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Office Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in a healthcare organization, medical practice, MSO, IPA, or other regulated environment utilizing electronic document management systems
