About The Position

Axiom is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant on behalf of our client located in Winchester, VA. This vital role ensures smooth daily operations by managing a variety of administrative tasks, from order support to database maintenance. The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker who thrives in a structured office environment and takes pride in keeping operations running seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office clerk, or in a similar operational role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for handling social media inquiries and internal notes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and robust problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to commit to the following schedule: Training Week (Week 1): Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Regular Schedule (Post-Training): Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Perform order status checks, process cancellations/corrections accurately, and assist in resolving order issues to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Check and process incoming/outgoing mail, and efficiently process shipping samples for the team.
  • Take detailed notes on various cases, ensuring accurate record-keeping and highly organized file maintenance.
  • Complete and manage retail return authorizations while maintaining precise documentation.
  • Monitor and clear unwanted spam from email and communication channels so important messages are prioritized.
  • Keep the physical and digital literature centers organized, up-to-date, and well-stocked.
