The role serves as a team point of contact, maintaining a well-organized unit with a focus on client service. The Administrative Assistant demonstrates solid working knowledge of all concepts, terminology and specialized administrative requirements, monitoring and coordinating established activities while distributing information to ensure the unit runs as planned. The role works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, and recommends improvements to procedural or administrative processes. In addition, the role maintains equipment and office supplies and maintains a running account of expenditures for the Manager.
