About The Position

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the engineering team and leadership while serving as a central resource for site-wide business needs. This role requires professionalism, sound judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite role in St Petersburg, FL.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience

  • Experience supporting multiple leaders or engineering organizations.

  • Experience coordinating site-wide events or supporting facilities, onboarding, or operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, events, meals, and employee engagement activities.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel in accordance with company policies; prepare related expense reports.
  • Serve as a primary resource for general site inquiries, visitor assistance, and information routing.
  • Coordinate facilities service requests, shipping needs, and office supply ordering, tracking, and organization.
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, reports, and documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Provide occasional calendar coordination for leaders as needed.
  • Support onboarding by coordinating workspace assignments, desk setup, and new‑employee resources.
  • Collaborate with other administrative professionals to ensure coordinated support across teams and functions.
  • Perform additional administrative and project duties as business needs evolve.
