About The Position

Space Kinetic is a cleared, venture-backed startup focused on addressing urgent national security priorities. Our goal is to deliver a suite of asymmetric capabilities for space superiority and missile defense leveraging our proprietary electromechanical deployment system, which enables the rapid deployment of low-cost payloads through space without firing a thruster. Space Kinetic is currently assembling its TRL-5 prototype. Our goal is to leverage this platform to provide the United States with a new tool for securing the space domain & catalyzing the emerging space economy. We are seeking an On-site Administrative Assistant to support daily execution at our El Segundo office and help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming environment across the company. This role serves as a key on-site support function for office coordination, candidate logistics, purchasing follow-up, and day-to-day administrative execution. The position works closely with leadership, talent acquisition, and internal teams to help keep daily priorities moving efficiently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in administrative support, office coordination, or similar business support role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professional presence and comfort interacting with visitors, candidates, and internal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting recruiting coordination, interviews, or office reception
  • Familiarity with aerospace, defense, engineering, or startup environments
  • Comfortable working in an environment where priorities move quickly

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site administrative support for the El Segundo office
  • Help maintain conference rooms, common areas, and office spaces organized, presentable, and ready for daily use
  • Support meeting logistics, room setup, and internal scheduling needs
  • Prepare meeting materials and assist with administrative follow-up
  • Help maintain office supplies and support daily office needs
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and internal teams
  • Welcome candidates onsite and serve as the first point of contact during interviews
  • Support interview room readiness and overall interview flow
  • Enter interview feedback into hiring systems as needed
  • Assist with hiring-related administrative coordination and follow-up
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for the El Segundo office and assist the Executive Assistant as needed
  • Help with basic purchasing follow-up for office and operational needs
  • Assist in confirming that materials and supplies are received and documented in coordination with inventory control
  • Receive, review, verify and process invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and appropriate approvals.
  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and internal staff to relay information, schedule appointments, and support business operations
  • Ensuring confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information, company records, and financial documents
