The Southeast Health District, Children's 1st program is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the full-time, salaried position of Administrative Assistant based in Waycross, GA. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two (2) years of job-related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a clinic or medical office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support for the Southeast Health District's Children 1st Program.
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions that require attention to detail and may involve access to confidential and sensitive information.
  • Answers and directs telephone calls.
  • Prepares and maintains program files.
  • Files documents.
  • Prepares staffing documentation.
  • Scans referrals.
  • Enters required referral information into the program database.
  • Processes and mails referrals.
  • Serves as a liaison by coordinating with internal and external customers to ensure the timely exchange of information and efficient program operations.
  • Assists with ordering office supplies, program materials, and promotional items to support program activities.
  • May research, investigate, and assist in resolving program-related data issues.
  • Prepares correspondence and reports.
  • Provides general administrative support.
  • As workload permits, provides administrative assistance to other district programs and the Annex building to support overall district operations.
