About The Position

Riverside’s Community Behavioral Health Centers provide comprehensive mental health services and substance use treatment, including crisis intervention, with flexible options for both routine and urgent care. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for providing general administrative assistance to Riverside consumers and clinic staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years administrative experience required
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, reliable, responsible and friendly
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills (including Microsoft Office) required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a mental health or social services setting is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the office
  • Answering phones and making appointment reminder calls
  • Greeting consumers, collecting co-payments
  • Entering billing and other data into the electronic health record
  • General administrative duties including managing medical records, medical billing data, filing, copying, scanning, supplies
