About The Position

MIRACORP Inc., is a woman-owned firm specializing in federal government contract services. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our GSA customer site in Boston, MA. This individual will work independently, with minimal guidance, and support of various service centers and business lines, providing administrative support to one or more management or senior leadership individuals at the same time. The position requires developing a highly responsive relationship with their customers. In addition to work center administration, the incumbent will be required to perform secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls), this position will provide administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities to include budgeting, personnel records and payroll and travel. This position will also require the ability to create letters and/or memorandum for executive staff review. The Administrative Assistant III will be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials, graphics and photos. Maintain recurring internal reports, such as time and leave records, office equipment listings, correspondence controls, and training plans. Review materials prepared for approval for typographical accuracy and proper format.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working with government staff.
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • An Associate of Arts degree with coursework in Business or Management or similar and/or 5 or more years of recent and relevant experience are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
  • Collaborative approach at interactions with others including customers and contractors.
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office and Google applications are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Support various associates, both Federal and Contract employees.
  • Services are associated with timekeeping, scheduling appointments, personnel process facilitation, making travel arrangements, processing travel vouchers, managing supply budgets and supply inventory, control mail, maintaining executive calendars and associated tasks related to supporting functions of upper management and other Staff.
  • Perform secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls).
