About The Position

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and office support functions to ensure the daily operations of the location run efficiently. This role supports one or more managers by scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and making travel arrangements. The position also involves updating reports for compliance, serving as a point of contact for department procedures, assisting operations managers with daily functions, reviewing and coding departmental expenses, maintaining organized files, and ordering/maintaining inventory of department supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 0-2 years of office and administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of commonly used administrative and office concepts, practices and procedures
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Exceptional problem solving skills with consistent follow through
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff as well as external customers
  • Team player.
  • Ability to abide by Granite’s Code of Conduct on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of administrative and office support functions to ensure the daily operations of the department run efficiently.
  • Support one or more managers including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendar, and travel arrangements to ensure their time is managed efficiently.
  • Maintain/update reports to ensure compliance with company policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support functional area by being the point of contact for department procedures and practices to ensure consistency.
  • Assist operations managers and/or supervisors or other staff with their daily functions to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
  • Review and code departmental expenses to ensure accurate accounting and budgeting.
  • Maintain department files to ensure they remain organized and current.
  • Order and maintain inventory of department supplies stock to ensure supplies are available when needed.
