About The Position

The Michelle Martin Group (MMG) is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide high-level clerical and administrative support for an on-site assignment in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment, and able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. This position includes general administrative support as well as testing coordination and proctoring. Work volume may fluctuate, particularly during periods of heavy testing.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative, clerical, office support, or customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and change workloads.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, particularly when coordinating and proctoring examinations.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new computer systems.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front desk and reception support.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, and general inquiries and route requests appropriately.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and calendar management.
  • Coordinate testing schedules and related administrative activities.
  • Proctor examinations in accordance with established procedures and requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence and other communications.
  • Maintain organized and accurate electronic and/or paper records.
  • Prepare emails, forms, documents, and other administrative materials.
  • Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, scanning, and records management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and records.
  • Learn and utilize applicable systems and technology.
  • Participate in required training related to systems, processes, and assigned responsibilities.
  • Provide additional administrative and clerical support as needed.
