We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant and performs a variety of duties to provide administrative and staff support, which requires a range of skills and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience providing clerical or administrative support, and/or customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated ability to type 45 words per minute, accurately and consistently.
