About The Position

Operating with the flexibility of a small firm, but with a big reach, Method is a full-service architecture firm specializing in tenant finish and ground-up projects encompassing industrial, corporate interiors, healthcare, hospitality, breweries, retail and more. The Administrative Assistant should help to keep the office running efficiently, have professional communication and writing capabilities, flexibility to assist other departments with administrative projects, as well as provide a positive first impression for clients and guests. This role is hourly and part time - hours of availability are open for discussion, but should be consistent and within the timeframe most staff are in office. This role is in-office only. Requirements

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Able to multitask and balance multiple projects
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in an open office environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • IT support skills, automation knowledge, and /or asset management software knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in A/E/C industry preferred
  • Notary Public preferred
  • Experience with AI (ex. CoPilot, Chat GPT, etc), Teams, and Planner a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests
  • Reply professionally and promptly to calls and emails
  • Mail: copy, scan, sort
  • Answer door, accept deliveries
  • Fill out courier requests
  • Order and stock supplies
  • Overall upkeep of the office
  • Troubleshoot light IT issues
  • Communicate with landlord, janitorial, and vendors on any facility issues
  • Coordinate product presentation/lunch and learn with vendors
  • Assist Marketing department with event planning and set ups
  • Assist HR in various company culture tasks, onboarding and offboarding
  • Additional projects as needed
