Care Dimensions is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Physician Services to support the physicians and advanced practice providers who deliver hospice, palliative, and primary care services to patients and families during some of life's most important moments. At Care Dimensions, our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and excellence. In this role, you will be an essential member of our Physician Services team, helping to ensure seamless operations and supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or related environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage communications and coordinate activities in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as electronic databases and healthcare systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional support to patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive medical information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to physicians and advanced practice clinicians across hospice, palliative, and primary care services.
  • Serve as a compassionate point of contact for patients, families, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Coordinate provider schedules to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Manage patient communications, appointment scheduling, and confirmations through the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Facilitate accurate and timely communication between field staff and office-based team members.
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and manage confidential documents with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support departmental projects, correspondence, and daily operations to promote efficient workflow.
