About The Position

The Administrative Assistant supports the Business Development and the Capture Center of Excellence organizations. This role provides high-quality administrative coordination in a fast-paced, high‑visibility environment and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with Collins Aerospace systems and workflows.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • 2-4 years supporting leaders in a professional setting; aerospace or defense industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with Collins Aerospace systems, tools, and processes required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Collins Aerospace experience in administrative, coordination, or business development support roles
  • Experience supporting capture or pursuit activities
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Active Security Clearance is preferred, not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reporting
  • Support communication flow between leadership, internal teams, external partners, and customers
  • Prepare and distribute professional correspondence, presentations, meeting materials, and reports
  • Utilize Collins Aerospace tools and processes to assist with capture activities, and cross-functional coordination
  • Plan and support leadership meetings, team events, offsites, conferences, and strategy sessions, including logistics and on-site coordination
  • Handle sensitive information in compliance with ITAR, export control, and company policies
  • Coordinate with contracts, finance, legal, engineering, and program teams to support initiatives
  • Provide support to the Capture Center of Excellence (CCE) activities to include: Prepare rooms and logistics for capture events, Coordinate classified/unclassified room transitions with security, Manage badge access requirements, Organize technology and supply needs for pursuit rooms, Coordinate catering and ensure event satisfaction
  • Support general administrative activities as directed by leadership
