About The Position

The Administrative Assistant facilitates company operations by providing a full range of administrative and clerical support for the entire organization. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and three years of related work experience preferred; or a High School Diploma/GED and five years of related work experience required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge and experience in office systems and operation of office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in day-to-day duties.
  • Solid written and verbal communication, listening, organization, detail orientation and priority setting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple and changing priorities even under pressure; takes initiative while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Strong customer focus in all tasks and activities, even while under pressure.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Answers and routes incoming calls, takes messages, and when necessary, locates individuals for callers. Retrieves messages from general mailbox and delivers to appropriate staff person.
  • Greets guests and notifies individuals when their expected visitors have arrived.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Creates, formats, edits, proofreads correspondence, reports, forms, labels, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, flyers, tent cards, etc.
  • Assembles various packets, materials, mailings, surveys, manuals for trainings, brochures, etc. and distributes accordingly
  • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
  • Provides logistical support for internal and external meetings
  • Assists with facilities management issues.
  • Serves as point of contact for Subsidy Department and liaises with OEC for system requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
