About The Position

This position provides administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities. Responsibilities include budgeting, personnel records, and payroll. The Administrative Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts, Naval Correspondence, and other presentation materials. This role follows clearly detailed procedures for simple, repetitive tasks and operates office equipment. It requires some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments with varying steps.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of administrative experience
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Ability to provide appropriate proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • Satisfactory references and background check
  • Successful passing of a pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to get a required clearance by the effective start date, if needed

Responsibilities

  • Filing pre-coded documents in a chronological file
  • Operating office equipment
  • Providing administrative support to executive staff
  • Office management responsibilities including budgeting, personnel records, and payroll
  • Independent work on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts, Naval Correspondence, and other presentation materials
