About The Position

Legend Biotech is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Contractor) to support the CAR-T Manufacturing site at Raritan, NJ. The Administrative Assistant will provide a variety of administrative support and will be involved in and help coordinate special projects and executive initiatives on behalf of Plant Leadership. The successful incumbent will be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships. Individuals must have the ability to work independently and also as an effective and engaged team member. Strong initiative and follow through is essential for this position. The ability to maintain confidentiality and to operate in the role with the highest of ethical standards and professionalism are required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of administrative assistant related experience
  • Strong administrative support knowledge, including the ability to professionally handle sensitive information requiring a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, with initiative and the ability to take ownership of, and follow through with, specific tasks
  • Strong organizational and detail-orientation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly as needed while working under challenging/changing deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical preferred
  • C-level and/or executive administration experience preferred
  • Large, matrix environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all forms of communications to ensure clear communication across the team and with key stakeholders.
  • Provide executive administrative support.
  • Maintain plant organizational chart and headcount files.
  • Assists with compilation of data from various sources, organize the data in formats to facilitate analysis and presentation.
  • Support HR on plant-related recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Track and drive completion of key deliverables, proactively following up on outstanding items, such as compliance trainings, vaccination records, and as needed.
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, and preparation of project plans, plant communications, dashboards etc.
  • Other duties may assigned as needed.
