About The Position
Burrow Global Fabrication is seeking a proactive administrative professional to support HR, operations, and administrative functions in their dynamic fabrication facility in Jacksonville. This role provides essential office and shop floor support, combining human resources tasks with organized administrative duties. The position helps keep personnel records compliant, supports onboarding and training, manages documentation, and assists shop managers with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of administrative or HR support experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, trustworthy with confidential information, and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, FL and collaborate with shop leadership and operations staff
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or ERP software
Responsibilities
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain personnel files and update OSHA safety training records
- Track timesheets and support basic payroll or cost reporting as needed
- Digitize and maintain organized files for inventory, project documents, and vendor invoices
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of information
- Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, prepare agendas, and take minutes for management meetings
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics as required
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide general assistance to shop managers
- Assist with light administrative tasks to keep the shop and office running smoothly
- Assist with data entry, document control, and correspondence
- Support procurement intake and vendor communication as needed
