About The Position

The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for providing administrative and organizational support for the Purchasing Department. This role involves preparing and distributing various documents, managing office supplies, coordinating correspondence, and assisting with travel arrangements.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative support experience.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute memos, letters, policy changes, reports, etc. for Purchasing Department.
  • Prepare and distribute Vendor Grades using Excel and Outlook.
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly rebate analysis.
  • Assist with data entry, email notifications, distributing various reports and other miscellaneous duties.
  • Receive and distribute mail for Purchasing Department.
  • Manage the office supplies for the Purchasing Department.
  • Coordinate incoming vendor correspondence (such as acknowledgment letters), to ensure vendor/subcontractor policy compliance.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for Purchasing and Estimating Departments.
