About The Position

This position will be responsible for assisting the wholesale division of Parrish Tire Company in staying organized and completing day-to-day tasks. These tasks may include, but will not be limited to answering phones, assisting customers with inquiries, processing and coding invoices, reviewing accounts for delinquencies, drafting correspondence, etc. The daily tasks are varied, and this person must be flexible to handle different situations as requested by the Sales and Operations Support Specialist.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic internet skills
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Office Administrator
  • 1-2 years of experience using a third-party accounts payable system
  • Strong understanding of data entry, invoicing, bookkeeping, coding
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Strong customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • AS400 experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
  • Process customer invoices, credits, and manages accounts
  • Performs basic bookkeeping and coding for accounts
  • Performs data entry and analysis of accounts; gives feedback on trends
  • Support office branches, salesmen, and customers on account billing issues
  • Match National Account credits to claims
  • Will work closely with accounts payable and accounts receivable regarding processing invoices and payments for deliveries
  • Monitors and maintains processes and orders through online portal
  • All other duties as assigned
