About The Position

Classification II - 52 weeks - 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (1 hr. lunch) - Administrative Assistant to Maintenance ASF. The district supports promotion of internal candidates. Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Prior administrative assistant/clerical experience
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, including demonstrated skill in reading and interpreting documents, writing reports, memos, etc.
  • Proven work record and desire to work cooperatively and positively with district personnel, community, and parents.
  • Maintain professionalism during stressful situations, while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Edulog).
  • Ability to work independently with a team attitude and minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy.
  • Organize and implement projects, willingness to learn and utilize new technology systems.
  • Professional phone manners and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Good attendance record required.
  • Proficiency test(s) will be required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Power School and AS400 preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process work orders, purchase orders and maintain filter orders.
  • Verify invoices with delivery schedule.
  • Track and maintain incumbrance invoices.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
