The administrative assistant, student employee is responsible for providing routine customer service and performing clerical/administrative duties according to established procedures. This role supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence. The position requires the employee to model, support, and hold others accountable to the University’s values. The role involves writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading documents, performing data aggregation, and responding to the needs of students, colleagues, and community members in a timely and courteous manner. Key duties include answering phones, responding to emails, forwarding messages, confirming appointments, maintaining office supply inventory, compiling and organizing information into reports, maintaining filing systems, and utilizing basic word processing, database, and spreadsheet skills daily. The position also involves collecting, organizing, and composing correspondence for department staff. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
