Requirements

  • Mandatory high-level bilingualism (written, read, spoken): French/English – Inuktitut an asset); Strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication skills (speaking and writing);
  • Professional, responsible and reliable attitude;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office softwares (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio, Outlook)
  • Available for occasional travel;
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities;
  • Sense of organization, discretion and confidentiality;
  • Stress resistance, availability for occasional overtime and be creative for special projects;
  • Be comfortable in a multicultural environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aviation (an asset);

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Ground Operations Department in administrative functions;
  • Follow up on documents related to human resources and payroll;
  • Drafting and translation of letters, forms, manuals and other documents;
  • Coordination/Organization of meetings; drafting and distribution of meeting minutes;
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records;
  • Support to managers for weekly verification of timesheets;
  • Edit and format various manuals including communication documents;
  • Manage, prepare and submit the claims for grant programs. Organize inspection tours for our equipment;
  • Act as a resource person for all administrative matters;
  • Any other related duties deemed necessary by management.
