About The Position

The Bryan County Board of Commissioners is now accepting applications for a Full Time Administrative Assistant for the Office of the Solicitor-General.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • High degree of written and verbal skills to effectively deal with the general public, law enforcement, the judiciary, and attorneys.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide general clerical assistance including typing of correspondence, filing, word processing, documentation of dispositions, and other information.
  • Prepare legal documents, including briefs, subpoenas, pleadings, motions, and accusations.
  • Collect and coordinate reports, citations, supporting documents, and evidence from law-enforcement agencies.
  • Prepare and maintain case files, collect and update criminal histories, collect and update driving histories.
  • Answer phones, take messages, process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Create, implement and maintain processes for file maintenance, tracking, and processes.
  • Handle multiple duties and priorities independently.
