About The Position

Provide administrative support to the Risk Manager to ensure the efficient function of all risk management activities. This role involves ensuring the confidentiality of patient information, accurate data entry for patient event reporting, maintaining logs, and preparing reports. The position requires effective communication, time management, and professional engagement with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Effective computer skills, including Office365, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with risk management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Effective communication via phone and email.
  • Effective time management.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Risk Manager, facility leadership, and employees through a variety of tasks related to the functions of the Risk Management Department.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Complete, accurate, and timely data entry related to all patient event reporting to required recipients, including Acadia, state and county authorities, and patient insurers.
  • Maintain all accurate and current logs as assigned.
  • Create spreadsheets and maintain databases.
  • Prepare reports and documents as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, and/or transfer calls as appropriate.
  • Engage with patients, visitors, and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner that demonstrates excellence in customer service.
  • Comply with all Bowling Green and Acadia training assignments.
  • Adhere to all Bowling Green/Acadia Policy and Procedures.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
