About The Position

Pennsylvania Steel Company, Cleveland Ohio Division, a full line Metal Service Center, is seeking a Full Time, Permanent Administrative Assistant / Operations Assistant to join our team. The potential candidate will be responsible for a wide range of day-to-day requirements to ensure a functional and efficient office environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional Administrative and customer service skills along with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent Organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in administrative or operational roles preferred
  • Desire to start or advance a career in the steel industry

Responsibilities

  • Develop a wide range of skills through various administrative and operational tasks
  • Collaborate closely with a talented team in the steel industry
  • Answer phones, maintain filing systems, handle billing procedures, and assist with shipping and receiving for the Operations Department
