About The Position

The Administrative Assistant plays an important role in supporting the operations of our church office. This position helps create a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment by assisting with a variety of administrative tasks and supporting the staff team in the ongoing ministry of the church.

Requirements

  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Complete the Abuse Prevention process
  • Proven competencies in Conflict Resolution, flexibility/adaptability, and love for Jesus

Nice To Haves

  • Office Administrative experience an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support the administrative functions of the church office operations
  • Support project management (planning, reporting, execution)
  • Support the weekly counting of church offerings
  • Secondary support for reception and front desk responsibilities
  • Support scheduling and calendar management for the staff team
  • Assist with basic HR administrative tasks as needed
  • Digitize and organize file archives
  • Database management
  • Attend staff meetings and staff chapels as scheduled
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Staff Handbook
