About The Position

The Administrative Assistant IV is a member of the leadership team and is critical to the success of the program. The Administrative Assistant IV assists the Program Directors and Associate Program Directors in the management and directions of the accredited fellowship programs. This position has responsibility for multiple programs with distinct requirements and assists multiple Program Directors in the department. The Administrative Assistant IV collaborates with the programs to ensure they are continually assessing, evaluating, and effectively managing a wide range of programmatic responsibilities including long term planning, recruitment, project development and implementation, database management, faculty and fellow communication regarding a variety of topics and issues as well as internal and external program and faculty, residents and medical students, coordination across departmental programs.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
  • Four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience.
  • Experience in providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management.
  • Experience performing secretarial duties in support of a manager.
  • Experience coordinating communications between the manager, staff, and program clientele.
  • Experience in supervision of subordinate staff.
  • Experience researching information from internal and external sources.
  • One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
