About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Administrative & IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative assistance and frontline technical support. This dual-role position ensures smooth office operations while maintaining the functionality and efficiency of computer systems and user support services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative support and/or IT help desk roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with help desk ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking principles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
  • Familiarity with purchasing systems and administrative software platforms.
  • Customer service orientation with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties including scheduling, correspondence, filing, and data entry.
  • Maintain and organize records, reports, and documentation in both physical and digital formats.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
  • Assist with procurement, inventory tracking, and supply management.
  • Support departmental projects and initiatives with research, reporting, and logistical coordination.
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with equipment lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
