About the Role Are you an energetic, detail-oriented student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in healthcare management and business administration? We are seeking an Office Administration Intern to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will work directly with leadership to support daily office operations, learn caregiver recruitment strategies, assist with client coordination, and participate in community engagement initiatives. This internship offers direct mentorship and valuable exposure to core administrative functions within a growing home care agency.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
  • High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining confidential information.
  • Eagerness to learn administrative, HR, and operational processes in healthcare.
  • Willingness to complete provided HIPAA compliance training.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors with warm hospitality, manage incoming calls/emails, and maintain office communication.
  • Prepare orientation materials, assist with candidate screening, confirm interviews, and send compliance/document reminders.
  • Audit digital and physical employee files, process administrative paperwork, and track office supply inventories.
  • Participate in community outreach events, assist with tabling setup/logistics, and shadow supervisory client visits for practical learning.
