About The Position

Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking an organized, technology forward, and quietly sharp administrative professional to join a small, close knit Radiation Oncology team at University Hospital. This position supports a small department of physicians and physicists. Day to day responsibilities include managing complex schedules, supporting clinic related project work assigned through the Project Coordinator, and contributing to process improvement and digitization efforts across the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Requires 2-4 years of relevant administrative experience in a healthcare or complex organizational setting.
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Requires proficiency in EMR and medical terminology for clinical care focused positions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing complex physician and physicist schedules and coordinating cross functional meetings and clinic related logistics
  • Supporting scheduling and clinic related project work outside of day-to-day operations
  • Handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Digitizing and improving administrative processes
  • Providing proficient support across Microsoft Office
  • Supporting clinical workflows as needed to ensure timely and accurate administrative contributions to patient care operations
  • Participating in workflow optimization tasks and collaborating with leadership to identify and implement clinical efficiency improvements over time
