About The Position

Perform specialized and complex administrative work within an office, which may include a wide range of duties. Handle a variety of situations and contingencies that may arise. Assist in the coordination of various units or activities of the Department/Bureau. Assume primary ownership of key elements of administrative operations and support activities. Demonstrate expertise and comprehensive knowledge of various aspects of support operations within its parameters. Answer administrative questions and address unconventional issues.

Requirements

  • Possession of a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
  • Two (2) years of administrative, clerical, or operations or directly related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
  • Ability to work with administrative, supervisory, technical, and professional personnel.
  • Advanced knowledge of specific organizational policies and procedures.
  • Skill in the application of basic organizational or bookkeeping principles and methods.
  • Skill in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and entry-level management.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Maintain financial, statistical, or other records.
  • Guide team members in providing general support for the unit’s objectives.
  • Perform moderately complex administrative and customer service tasks to identify new approaches to improve efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with team members and entry-level management to provide moderately complex customer service requests and create effective relationships.
  • Support peers and lower-level team members by providing basic to complex administrative and clerical support for the unit’s objectives.
