This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. Administrative Assistants are a vital part of Cleveland Clinic’s operations, enabling caregivers to focus on patient care while improving coordination among nursing teams, administrative staff, and providers. In this role, you will answer questions about payroll, order supplies, and coordinate meetings. You will serve as a direct line of communication between managers and the department, while supporting frontline staff through various activities facilitated on behalf of the management team. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled colleagues and access numerous educational resources to further develop your skills. A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am—4:30pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years of office experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Typing proficiency of 35 wpm with accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external customers by greeting customers, answering, and triage phone calls.
  • Administer calendar and schedule management.
  • Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence (e.g., reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.) as required.
  • Provide coverage of other areas such as front end, point of service and registration.
  • Coordinate management functions and assist in special projects.
