Maintains and assists in the development of department systems including databases and documents. Examples of databases and documents may include majors/ minors, advisor/ advisee, community agencies used for serving learning/ internships, student academic plans, faculty lists, computer inventory, key inventory, supply lists, syllabi, and course schedules. Prepares official documents or uses university computer programs for the following: faculty contracts, travel approvals, search related documents, course scheduling, student enrollment, advisor assignment, promotional and information materials, professional memberships, and other tasks or initiative as indicated by supervisor. Assists in preparing and administrating department budget by updating accounts and running periodic transfer reports. Provide general oversight of the department and faculty support including but not limited to syllabi retention, copying, scanning, archiving documents, book orders, supply orders, work control (repairs, special projects), bulletin board maintenance, new faculty space, office moves, organization, and general appearance of office space. Serve as editor for department website, telephone directory, TU directory, and Secure Share drives.
