Provides complex administrative support in the coordination of operational tasks involved in the day-to-day administration of the Communication Department. This includes support for undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as programs associated with High Impact Practices such as internships, practicums, study abroad, global experiences, scholarships, the Fulton School Podcast Studio, Public Relations Agency and Lab, and the Public Communication Master's Program. The role collaborates with the department chair and faculty on department programs, initiatives, and experiential learning opportunities/events. This involves developing, supporting, and coordinating existing and new forward-facing projects, recruitment, retention, and marketing efforts for programs. The position also monitors and maintains multiple department and student group budgets, course delivery, and academic programming in conjunction with the department chair. Additionally, it provides support in implementing strategies to deliver experiential learning opportunities through department courses, research, events, and other activities.
