About The Position

The Administrative Assistant II will work on various areas for Human Resources as assigned. The scope of work includes assisting with employee engagement strategies, executing succession planning strategies, designing and developing training materials, updating and redesigning the employee dashboard, and assisting with miscellaneous HR projects such as staff recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Execution of Engagement Strategies
  • Assist with implementation of 2026 employee engagement action items identified in the engagement report
  • Design reverse mentoring program
  • Design and create implementation plan for structured performance discussion guides
  • Design and create implementation plan for reporting mechanism for any equipment issues
  • Interview Core Value Award winners to place highlight in Employee Newsletter, Dashboard and Website
  • Develop strategy to highlight milestone anniversaries through various mediums (e.g., social media, website, newsletters)
  • Assist with Execution of Succession Planning Strategies
  • Implement strategies recommended by consulting group for BCHD succession planning
  • Provide recommendations for roll-out of strategies
  • Write communication to staff around the recommendations from the consulting group project
  • Design and implement training on how to use succession planning tools
  • Design micro-trainings for WorkWell newsletter content; including how to use Microsoft 365 apps (with how-to guides)
  • Research best practices on supervisory training and develop outline for all topics that should be included (link to any resources found)
  • Begin to create content for supervisory training (if time allows)
  • Assist with developing training materials for any additional requests
  • Review current employee dashboard and work with supervisor on how to structure dashboard to make it more user-friendly
  • Redesign dashboard and create additional content needed
  • Assist HR staff with AdventurePlex staff recruitment (e.g., interviewing, processing forms, creating personnel files)
  • Assist with misc. projects should time permit
