About The Position

Acquisition Professionals LLC is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our client in Washington, DC. Supporting a front office. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to staff ensuring correspondence is properly prepared and error free; provide adequate office support: phone coverage, office supplies are available, and office equipment operational (paper, toner etc), and other tasks assigned accordingly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience.(Govt preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
  • Familiarity with office management tools, scheduling platforms, and document management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently on projects requiring research and analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional judgment and discretion handling confidential information
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (background investigation required).
  • U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization as required for federal contracts.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training and certifications are desired.
  • 3–5+ years of administrative experience supporting senior leadership or executives.
  • Experience in federal or government environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to executive leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and office coordination.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and executive briefings.
  • Prepare reports, briefing materials, charts, and presentations for leadership use.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making and program initiatives.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and hard copy) and ensure document accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate office operations and support special projects as assigned.
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information in accordance with agency policies.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up on action items across teams.
